In 2004, Julie was working in the fashion industry when she went shopping for her own wedding dress. She tried on more than 100 dresses over weeks and weeks, an experience that should have been exciting but instead brought her to tears, arguments with her mother, and a boss who threatened to fire her if she took one more day off. That experience taught her something fundamental: how you feel in what you’re wearing shapes everything. It became the foundation for a business focused not just on what people wear, but on how they feel.
What began as a single styling appointment grew into The Stylish Bride, the first company of its kind. Julie pioneered a new way of working—bringing expert guidance, insider access, and genuine care to an industry that desperately needed it. She literally created a new profession where none existed before.
Over 20+ years, the business evolved naturally. Wedding styling remains the foundation and where the deepest expertise lies, but client relationships naturally evolved to include all of life’s important moments. Today, as TSB Styling, Julie and her team bring the same care and expertise to every client—whether preparing for a wedding, a milestone event, or building a wardrobe for life’s important moments.
